Huxley's Creative Portrait Session

We firmly believe that as artists we have to remember to create strictly for the sake of creating. As much as we LOVE our work and our clients, it's important for us to continue exploring and experimenting with our craft. It can be so refreshing and rewarding to pull an idea out of your head and make it come to life for no one but yourself, and no other reason that it being fun. No deadlines, no idea what you may use the images for, no rules- just pure creativity. The other thing that is so great about this is that we can learn from the experiments and then implement those lessons into our work with clients.

We are so incredibly lucky to have several amazing and talented friends who are just about always down for our crazy ideas. Huxley King is a fantastic artist herself who often helps us out behind the scenes with set and costume design, but any chance we have to get her in front of our camera is always a blast. Check out our collaboration with her (with hair and makeup by Jessica Crawford) in the images below!
