Muddy Roots Music Festival 2014

For those of you that have witnessed the (dare I say it?) majesty of Muddy Roots, being out on that field with some of the best people and best music you have ever heard, well- there's not much I can say to truly describe just how fantastic it is. For those of you that are just now hearing about it, or have yet to experience it- let me try to show you a small picture of how much fun it is.

A quick look at their website (www.muddyrootsrecords.com) will tell you that Muddy Roots is "...three days of music, camping, vintage cars, vendors, and pinups. From punk to traditional country, you will find something (if not everything) that you will love. Come spend your Labor Day weekend with a whole lot of cool people."

When at MRMF it feels like you are surrounded by family and the best friends you've ever had- even if the people around you in the crowd are people you have never met before in your life. Immediate friendships and bonds are formed. There is something about the energy of the music, the authenticity of it, that just seems to connect everyone there in a real way.

It's a special place and event for so many people- especially this awesome couple from the 2014 festival who decided to tie the knot while there!

No matter where you end up laying your head at night (or in the wee hours of the morning) no need to fear your 'do getting out of whack.... there is a barber on premises.

The music goes on almost all night and day. There is always something fun to see, brilliant to hear, and amazing with which to experience it all.

We even had a quick chance before the rain hit (and my goodness it really did hit) Saturday afternoon to photograph our friend/model/dancer Kittie Katrina modeling a rare vintage swimsuit for Vivian Belle Vintage (www.vivianbellevintage.com).

And speaking of rain- it doesn't stop this crowd. When life hands us lemons, or in this case, torrential downpours...well- we make mudslides. We play in the puddles (or mini "rivers" as it were), and we keep on rockin'. We wear our muddy boots proudly and fuel ourselves on the music.

And while we do not profess to be videographers of any sort (not yet at least!) we did put together this little video clip for your viewing pleasure.

Come join us on the field this year- the 2015 lineup is now posted! So be sure to go grab your tickets now- you'll be more than glad you did. Also be sure to check out all the other great events Mister Galaz (aka The Mudfather) has in store for this year. We are especially excited about the Nashville Boogie that will be held at The Gaylord Opryland Resort May 1st and 2nd.

If you haven't already- give us a "like" on facebook at www.facebook.com/andhowimaging to keep up with our work, and to see our future coverage of more of these events!

xoxo-
